As planted and on the edge of sports-fields, I am considering alternative species identification candidates' possibilities of exotic alien _Ficus_ spp. .
Really looks like _Ficus macrophylla_ and IMHO this remains the most likely species identification. _Ficus macrophylla_ trees commonly get planted too, of course.
Yes looks like _Alphitonia excelsa_ or a different _Alphitonia_ species such as _A. petriei_ .
Confirming this does not identify to a _Ficus_ species. For example check these photographs for _Ficus_ stipules, quite different to _Alphitonia_ stipules . And yes are these leaves' undersides white ?
