I looked up Paul Whitingdon's original description for his specimenss from Wonboyn and agree that this is the most likely ID, although I don't have the Johns and Rentz key available.

Thanks for putting stuff up on NM -its always useful to have new species there. I assume you got an ID confirmation for erinaceum adults. I will have a look on i-naturalist for any nymphs - yours does look very black. There are no records of erinaceum on ALA yet. Bargo would be at the edge of the Sydney Sandstone Basin, so distribution could fit

@RogerF Sorry I have no expertise in this area. I am currently copying my iNaturalist observations onto NM to hopefully improve accuracy of identifications. I used A. erinaceum as it seem to more closely fit the photo ids on iNaturalist and distribution , plus I have had one ID agreement for A. erinaceum. Hopefully NM can confirm or re ID.

Can you tell me the difference between the nymph of this species and that of A. opacum. Adults of the latter already recorded from SHNM and CNM.
